Steuben Place Apartments

The Steuben Place Apartments are a historical part of Albany, NY. Before the 4-story, 25-unit building became apartments, it was originally used for the growing and thriving railroad business, but after various state agencies occupied the building, the Steuben Place Apartments were created.

The building that stands now kept pieces of history with the craftsmanship of the original architecture in every apartment. The historical apartments provide a place to call home, but also a place filled with history and stories.

RAN Fire Protection Engineering provided consulting engineering services for the renovations to the apartments at 40 Steuben Street. RAN performed a code analysis for the installation requirements of an automatic sprinkler system and standpipe system. RAN provided construction administration support and processed automatic sprinkler system and standpipe system shop drawings and submittals.
