SUNY Binghamton
Binghamton University completely redesigned and renovated their 22,000 square foot food union. The new, modern design featured an array of mini restaurant stands, with a stimulating complex ceiling design, including a grand rotunda.
RAN Fire Protection Engineering designed a sprinkler system that encompassed not only an elaborate ceiling design, but also the complex mechanical and electrical systems. Coordination was accomplished using Revit 3-D modelling. Additionally, the sprinklers and piping were designed to blend into the background, so as not to take away from its architectural magnificence.
