Cornell University

Cornell University is a private IVY League research university in Ithaca, NY.

It was founded in 1865 by Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White and has been consistently ranked among the top universities in the world by major educational publications. Some of the most notable alumi of Cornell University is Bill Nye, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Jane Lynch.


The president of RAN Fire Proteciton Enigneering was involved in the scope of this project which was broader than just mechanical, fire protection, and electrical matters. Much background research was involved to investigate the universities fire protection goals. The current fire protection loop on campus was documented and evaluated, suggestions for improvement were made.
