Car-Freshener Corporation is the company that produces the Little Trees brand air fresheners.
This product came to be in 1952 when a milk trucker driver complained about the smell of spilled milk. To solve this complaint, Julius Samann combined different fragrances with a specialized material to create the first car air freshener. The shape was chosen in honor of Julius’ time in Canada’s pine forests. The air fresheners were and are an efficient way of solving a common problem.
RAN Fire Protection Engineering provided complete fire protection engineered construction plans and consulting services for the addition to the Car-Freshener building. The fire protection design drawings included a hazard classification of the building space, a sprinkler and piping location plan, and hydraulic calculations. RAN responded to bidder’s questions, issued the addenda, and processed the sprinkler ship drawings and submittal as a part of the construction administration services.
